How to Apply

Application Requirements:

  1. Completed application form
  2. One campus reference letter
  3. Must be an enrolled student for Fall 2017
  4. Student must be in good academic and judicial standing with Georgia Tech


  1. Completed application and reference letter due by February 10, 2017 at 5pm to Karen Yiu at
  2. If selected for an interview, you will be sent a link to sign up for an interview slot by February 17, 2017.
  3. Individual interviews will be 30 minutes long and will be held February 20-22.
  4. Applicants will be notified by Friday, February 24.
  5. Applicants must be available Saturday, March 11, 2016 from 9:00am-4:00pm for a full-day onboarding retreat.

Mandatory Dates: 

  1. Saturday, March 11, 2017: Full-day onboarding retreat
  2. Regular weekly meetings: Wednesdays 5-7pm
  3. Fall retreat: TBD


  1. Attend weekly meetings.
  2. Learn about diversity-related resources on Georgia Tech's campus.
  3. Aid in the planning of Diversity Week in the Spring semester.
  4. Diversity training with external constituents.
  5. Capstone project at the end of the first year.
